Repossi — Paris: Technical Product Development Project Manager (Jewellery & High Jewellery) to lead technical feasibility, prototyping and launch activities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful launch of new products across the quality / cost / delivery triad.
  • Analyse technical feasibility of new briefs with the creative studio and product marketing; propose design or technical optimisations and alternatives where necessary.
  • Identify and anticipate project risks (technical feasibility, costs, lead times) and implement mitigation measures.
  • Establish and maintain optimized development schedules in alignment with standard timelines and project constraints; coordinate timelines with external ateliers.
  • Coordinate and align actions across internal teams (creation, marketing, ateliers) and external suppliers from prototyping through pre-series validation to production launch.
  • Monitor project progress: respect of planning, assessment of quotes, and evolution of aesthetic and technical specifications.
  • Maintain and update all project-tracking tools (project follow-up tables), escalate alerts and obtain hierarchical arbitration when required.
  • Animate and federate the project team; communicate regular status updates and organise decision points.
  • Manage monthly tracking, updating and communication of the development budget.
  • Lead design-to-cost initiatives for selected range items and pilot technical research to deliver viable production solutions.

Qualifications

  • Engineering diploma or equivalent qualification with orientation in product development or quality.
  • Demonstrable technical affinity for jewellery and haute joaillerie techniques.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar product development or technical project role within jewellery or a closely related artisanal industry.
  • Highly organised, responsive and rigorous with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solver with capacity to anticipate blockers and propose pragmatic solutions.
  • Comfortable operating in complex, ambiguous environments and under pressure while showing emotional intelligence.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Italian is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
