Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously develop the site quality management systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements and relevant standards.
- Lead root‑cause investigations, nonconformance handling and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to drive durable quality improvements.
- Design and implement statistical process control (SPC) methods, capability studies and inspection plans to monitor production quality.
- Coordinate incoming‑part and supplier quality activities, including supplier audits and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with production, R&D and engineering teams to embed quality by design and support new product introductions.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and support external/regulatory audits to maintain certification readiness.
- Maintain quality documentation, control plans, test methods and metrology calibration programmes.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using data‑driven methodologies to reduce scrap, rework and process variation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or related technical discipline; Master's preferred.
- Proven knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and experience implementing system requirements.
- Practical experience with root cause analysis methodologies and CAPA management.
- Demonstrable experience applying statistical process control and measurement system analysis.
- Familiarity with supplier quality management and audit processes.
Skills
Experience
Approximately 3–5 years of hands‑on quality engineering experience in a high‑precision manufacturing environment; experience in electronics, battery manufacturing or precision components is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
