The programme combines technical drafting instruction, hands-on mechanical assembly, and introductory electronics training, equipping learners with practical design and manufacturing competencies alongside industry-standard CAD proficiency.
Role & Responsibilities
- Learn to read and create technical drawings according to industry standards
- Work with SolidWorks CAD software to design and model actual components
- Plan and execute small-scale independent projects with guidance
- Use FreeMind to visualize ideas and map project workflows
- Learn metalworking fundamentals and practical machining techniques
- Assemble sub-assemblies and witness how individual parts integrate into functional systems
- Gain foundational knowledge of control systems and electrical circuits
- Develop proficiency in hands-on mechanical and assembly work
Qualifications
- Completion of lower or upper secondary school (Sekundarschule Niveau E or P)
- Strong interest in mechanics, engineering, and how systems function
- Good spatial reasoning and ability to visualize three-dimensional forms and workflows
- Willingness to work with both hands and modern design tools
