Rado (Swatch Group) seeks a PR & Events Manager in Miami, FL to lead media relations, press communications and brand events.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement integrated PR and events strategies that elevate Rado's brand equity across assigned markets.
  • Manage media relations: cultivate and maintain relationships with national and trade press, secure editorial coverage and coordinate press interviews and product previews.
  • Plan, produce and execute events and launches (press days, product unveilings, VIP and retail activations), including logistics, guest lists, programming and on-site management.
  • Draft and approve press materials — press releases, media kits, executive bios and backgrounders — ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Oversee external agencies and freelancers (PR, production, AV, catering), including briefs, performance evaluation and budget control.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, retail, product, legal) to ensure aligned messaging and seamless execution of communications and events.
  • Manage event and PR budgets, track spend, and report on ROI and KPIs using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Lead crisis and issues communications as required, preparing holding statements and escalation plans.
  • Develop influencer and VIP engagement programs, including partnerships, gifting strategies and hospitality for key contacts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience in PR and event management, preferably within luxury goods, watches, fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven track record of securing national and trade media coverage and managing high-profile product launches and VIP events.
  • Demonstrated experience briefing and managing PR agencies and third-party event suppliers, with strong budget stewardship.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft clear, brand-aligned narratives and press materials.
  • Comfortable working across internal stakeholders and with senior executives; exemplary organisational and project-management capabilities.

Experience
