Rado is hiring a Boutique Manager for its Collins St boutique in Melbourne — lead sales, clienteling and store operations for the Swiss watch maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day boutique operations on Collins Street, ensuring commercial performance against sales targets and KPIs.
- Coach, recruit and develop boutique staff to deliver exceptional client experiences and sustain high levels of product and service knowledge.
- Drive clienteling initiatives and CRM usage to build lasting relationships, increase repeat business and grow VIP clientele.
- Manage stock control, inventory reconciliations, merchandising standards and product presentation in line with brand guidelines.
- Oversee sales forecasting, visual merchandising implementation, pricing integrity and compliance with company policies and cash procedures.
- Coordinate after‑sales service, warranty handling and liaison with service centres to maintain client satisfaction and brand reputation.
- Implement local marketing activities, events and in‑store activations to maximise footfall and brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury watch, jewellery or premium accessories retail with progressive responsibility.
- Demonstrable experience meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing boutique P&L or store performance metrics.
- Strong clienteling and CRM practice, with the ability to cultivate and retain high‑value customers.
- Excellent leadership and people‑management skills, including recruitment, coaching and performance management.
- Right to work in Australia and willingness to work a retail schedule including weekends and public holidays.
- Tertiary or vocational qualification in retail management, business or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3–5 years in luxury retail with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, preferably within watches or jewellery. Demonstrable success in driving boutique sales, developing client relationships and leading small teams.
Education
Certificate/Diploma in Retail Management, Business or equivalent vocational qualification; equivalent professional experience accepted.
