Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to clients in the Galeries Lafayette Nice boutique to maximise conversion and average transaction value.
- Operate point-of-sale systems for sales transactions, exchanges and refunds while ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Maintain brand visual and merchandising standards on the shop floor, including daily replenishment, window dressing and stock rotation.
- Develop relationships with clientele through proactive clienteling, follow-up and appointment scheduling to support repeat business.
- Support inventory management activities such as stock intake, back‑stock organisation and participation in stock counts.
- Collaborate with the store manager and brand team to achieve daily and seasonal sales targets and participate in promotional events.
- Work flexibly including weekends and evenings to cover peak trading hours and special in-store activations.
Qualifications
- Right to work in France and availability for the full duration of the temporary contract.
- Previous retail sales experience; experience with luxury or premium brands strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in cash handling and point-of-sale transaction processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Capacity to maintain high visual and presentation standards and to follow merchandising directives.
- Flexible availability including weekends and bank holidays.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably within luxury, premium or fashion environments. Demonstrated success meeting sales targets and delivering high levels of client service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion or hospitality is advantageous.
