Puig is hiring a Retail Designer — Travel Retail Americas in Miami. Lead travel retail store and fixture design for Puig's beauty and lifestyle brands across the Americas.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual and detailed retail design solutions for travel retail (duty-free, airport, inflight and travel retail channels) across the Americas, aligned with each brand's global visual identity.
  • Produce technical drawings, plans and specifications (CAD and 3D) for fixtures, displays and customised store-in-store modules; prepare installation and assembly documentation for manufacturing partners.
  • Translate brand guidelines into modular, transportable and compliance-ready concepts optimised for airport footfall, security and shipping constraints.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery: scope, timelines, cost estimates, vendor selection, prototyping, quality control and on-site installation oversight.
  • Collaborate closely with brand marketing, visual merchandising, retail operations and commercial teams to ensure concepts meet commercial objectives and operational requirements.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, fabricators and local contractors; review samples, materials and finishes to meet brand standards and durability criteria.
  • Ensure projects comply with local regulations, airport authority requirements and health & safety standards specific to travel retail environments.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or equivalent discipline.
  • Portfolio demonstrating retail, fixture or exhibit design with clear examples of technical drawings and installed projects.
  • Proven experience designing for retail environments, preferably with travel retail/airport or duty-free exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication processes and construction tolerances for retail fixtures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with experience producing budget estimates and managing supplier relationships.
  • Willingness to travel across the Americas for site visits and installations.

Experience
