Rabanne in Paris seeks a Retail Assistant (Apprenticeship) to support boutique sales, client service and visual merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily boutique operations including greeting clients, conducting sales transactions and processing payments via POS.
- Deliver personalised client service and build long-term client relationships through attentive, discreet advisory and follow-up.
- Assist with visual merchandising and upkeep of boutique presentation to meet brand standards.
- Manage inventory activities: receiving, tagging, replenishment and regular stock counts.
- Coordinate appointments and manage client bookings to maximize boutique traffic and conversion.
- Assist store management with daily administrative tasks, sales reporting and CRM inputs.
- Handle customer enquiries and follow through on after-sales service and minor returns/exchanges.
- Contribute to team targets and participate in store meetings, trainings and brand events.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an apprenticeship or vocational programme related to retail, fashion, merchandising or business.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused attitude and polished personal presentation.
- High level of organisation, accuracy with cash and transaction handling, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, as required by boutique hours.
- Motivation to learn and develop within luxury retail; reliable, punctual and professional.
- Legal right to work in France for the duration of the apprenticeship contract.

Experience
No previous professional experience in luxury retail is strictly required; interest in fashion and a willingness to learn on the boutique floor are essential. Any prior retail or customer-facing experience will be considered an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in a recognised apprenticeship or vocational diploma in retail, fashion, merchandising, commerce or equivalent (e.g., Bac pro, BTS or similar).
