Rabanne is seeking a Production Purchasing Assistant intern in Paris to support materials and supplies purchasing for ready-to-wear and accessories collections, working with internal development, production and design teams and external suppliers. Responsibilities include order and supplier follow-up, sample and shipping-document management, transport coordination, and support for production handovers and counter-sample shipments. Internship starting February 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Place orders in the ERP system and send them to suppliers.
- Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure deadlines are met.
- Update tracking spreadsheets.
- Receive and inspect approval samples in coordination with the manager.
- Check shipping documents and manage transportation.
- Participate in materials and supplies handover meetings.
- Update and archive samples.
- Prepare shipments of materials and supplies for counter-sample production in coordination with the production teams.
Qualifications
- Degree-level studies in fashion, business with a luxury purchasing specialization, or textile engineering.
- Passion for fashion, strong product sensitivity, and knowledge of materials used in the textile industry.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the luxury sector.
- Strong team spirit.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsiveness, autonomy, versatility, and punctuality.
- Proficiency with IT tools, including ERP management software and Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel knowledge.
- Knowledge of Orliweb and PLM is an advantage.
- Excellent English and French are essential; a third language such as Italian, Spanish, or German is an advantage.
- Strong product sensibility.
