Role & Responsibilities
- Support the sourcing and procurement of primary fragrance packaging (glass bottles, closures, pumps, caps and components) from specification to industrialisation.
- Prepare and manage RFQs, analyse supplier quotes and perform cost comparisons and total-cost assessments.
- Coordinate sample requests, laboratory and quality testing, and validation cycles with R&D, Quality and Production teams.
- Maintain technical packaging specifications and drawings; ensure compliance with brand design and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in supplier qualification, performance monitoring and lead-time tracking; support negotiations and contract follow-up.
- Contribute to packaging cost-reduction and sustainability initiatives (materials selection, recyclability and supplier innovations).
- Update procurement trackers, purchase orders and ERP entries; liaise with internal stakeholders to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in an accredited vocational or university programme in procurement, packaging engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a related discipline (apprenticeship/alternance format).
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to work with cost models and technical specifications.
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple supplier interactions and project deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills; capacity to collaborate across design, quality and operations teams.
Skills
Experience
Previous internships or short-term experience in procurement, packaging sourcing, or supply chain are advantageous but not mandatory; this apprenticeship is open to candidates at the start of their professional careers.
Education
Current enrolment in a related diploma or degree (BTS/DUT, Bachelor's or Master's level) in procurement, packaging engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain or equivalent.
