Puig in Hamburg seeks a Local Client Activation & Visual Merchandising Intern to support retail activations and in-store visual execution for its brands.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support local client activation campaigns across Puig brands, coordinating in-store promotions, launches and events at retail points of sale.
  • Implement and adapt global visual merchandising guidelines to the local market, producing planograms and fixture layouts for retail partners.
  • Prepare merchandising kits and manage VM asset inventory, ensuring timely distribution and installation at stores and counters.
  • Conduct store visits to audit visual standards, take corrective actions and document execution with photographic reports.
  • Work closely with retail, wholesale and distributor teams to align activation timing, stock placement and in-store communication.
  • Assist in the production of POS materials, window concepts and promotional signage, liaising with creative and production teams as needed.
  • Collect executional feedback and KPI data post-activation and contribute to performance reports and optimisation proposals.
  • Support on-site brand events and sampling activities, including logistics, set-up and client service during activations.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s programme in marketing, fashion, visual merchandising, retail management, communications or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activation tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Keen eye for visual detail and a practical understanding of retail display principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with commercial and creative teams.
  • Proactive, hands-on attitude with a bias for execution and problem-solving in a retail environment.
  • Flexibility to travel locally for store visits and occasional weekend/evening work during activations.

Experience
