Rabanne seeks a Design Assistant Intern (Accessories) in Paris to support creative development, trend analysis, and visual rendering.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct trend analysis on colors, materials, and design innovations; curate elegant, structured moodboards with focused iconographic research and competitive intelligence
- Develop collection boards and luxury visual supports; execute freehand sketches and precise technical drawings; produce realistic, refined visual renders using Photoshop and Illustrator
- Maintain and organize technical specification sheets and associated design documentation; contribute to the structuring and organization of creative materials, hardware samples, and visual archives
- Provide visual support throughout the creative development process; execute occasional prototype samples to test design concepts and validate visual intentions
- Manage and enrich material and hardware libraries; prepare key support materials for studio presentations and creative reviews
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design, product design, or applied arts school at Bac+4 or Bac+5 level, with specialization in accessories, leather goods, or product design
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator—essential; strong capability to produce realistic, precise, and elegant digital renders
- Proficiency in InDesign for board layout and presentation; excellent freehand drawing and technical sketching ability
- Strong sensitivity to materials, finishes, and metallic detailing; demonstrated aesthetic appreciation for luxury and contemporary design
- Discretion and strict confidentiality; fluent English required; Italian preferred
