Role & Responsibilities
- Support the accessories product lifecycle from concept through production, ensuring alignment with design intent and commercial targets.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and spec sheets; follow up on samples and revisions with ateliers and suppliers.
- Coordinate production schedules, monitor lead times, and assist in quality control and pre‑production approvals.
- Collaborate with design, sourcing and merchandising teams to track costs, materials and bill of materials (BOM).
- Attend fittings and technical reviews; record outcomes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Manage routine administrative tasks related to product development (file organization, meeting minutes, sample tracking).
- Contribute to trend and market research to inform seasonal accessory assortments and material choices.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (fashion product development, accessory design, industrialization, merchandising or equivalent) and eligible for an apprenticeship (alternance).
- Basic understanding of accessory construction, materials and production processes.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to sample and document tracking.
- Effective communicator capable of liaising with internal teams and external ateliers/suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience
This apprenticeship is aimed at students; no substantial professional experience is required. Previous internships or practical experience in product development, manufacturing follow-up, or with accessories brands is a strong plus.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in fashion product development, accessory design, industrialization, merchandising, or a closely related discipline; eligible for alternance/apprenticeship.
