Puig seeks an AI Acceleration Assistant (apprenticeship) in Paris — support R&D in prototyping, benchmarking and deploying AI solutions across Puig brands.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the AI Acceleration team in prototyping, evaluating and deploying generative and predictive models for marketing, product and customer-experience use cases across Puig brands.
- Prepare, clean and engineer datasets; implement experiments and reproducible model training pipelines.
- Benchmark models and document performance, trade-offs and ethical considerations for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product managers, brand teams and external vendors to translate business needs into technical requirements and pilots.
- Contribute to model integration activities, basic MLOps tasks (containerisation, versioning, testing) and deployment support.
- Perform literature and market scans on emerging AI techniques and tooling relevant to luxury and beauty applications.
- Create clear technical notes, dashboards and presentations to communicate results and next steps to non-technical audiences.
- Maintain project documentation, data inventories and compliance checks aligned with internal governance.
Qualifications
- Current enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering or a closely related discipline (apprenticeship/alternance track).
- Demonstrable practical experience through academic projects, internships or personal projects in machine learning or data science.
- Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries; ability to write clean, documented code and reproducible notebooks.
- Strong analytical reasoning and familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning concepts.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with product, marketing and brand teams; good written and verbal communication skills.
- Autonomous, curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced, brand-centric environment.

Experience
Entry-level/apprenticeship: candidates should have hands-on academic or internship experience with machine learning projects, including data preparation, model training and basic evaluation. Prior exposure to applied AI or commercial pilots is an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree program (Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering or equivalent) and eligible for an apprenticeship/alternance contract.
