Role & Responsibilities
- Drive and exceed boutique sales targets through proactive client prospecting, clienteling and CRM-led activities; analyse sales data to build short- and long-term business plans.
- Develop and implement initiatives to secure high-value transactions and recruit promising clients; oversee in-store events and promotional displays to maximise conversion.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with local and VIP clients; manage after-sales service to brand standards and resolve client issues with discretion.
- Lead, mentor and motivate the boutique team; act as a visible role model and promote participation in regional and global brand events to increase customer engagement.
- Own full store operations: staff scheduling, inventory safeguarding, stock structure monitoring and store upkeep to ensure continuity of sales and service.
- Recruit and on-board new employees, coordinate product training and conduct annual performance reviews; identify development needs and liaise with HR on training solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to visual merchandising guidelines and implement retail strategies issued by regional retail and operational teams.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in luxury retail with demonstrable results in sales management and people development.
- Strong clienteling and CRM proficiency, with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial plans.
- Sound knowledge of high or fine jewellery product categories and luxury client expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage sensitive after-sales situations with discretion.
- Experience recruiting, coaching and conducting formal performance evaluations in accordance with HR policies.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in luxury retail, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; prior exposure to high-jewellery or fine-jewellery retail is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; education in business, retail/hospitality management or a related discipline preferred.
Workplace
The role is situated in Wuhan, Hubei, China.
