Qeelin Senior PR Executive in Shanghai — lead celebrity relations, media strategy, and luxury brand communications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work closely with external agencies to maintain ongoing press relationships and execute strategic media pitching campaigns
- Manage celebrity and influencer relationships, including styling coordination, seeding opportunities, and partnership development
- Plan and execute brand events while coordinating celebrity and high-profile attendee participation
- Coordinate sample logistics, documentation, and presentation materials for PR initiatives
- Handle contract negotiations, payment processing, and administrative documentation for celebrity and influencer partnerships
- Prepare crisis communication strategies and monitor potential reputational risks
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Logistics, Merchandising, Sales) to align PR deliverables with business objectives
- Track emerging celebrity and influencer trends to inform and refine brand PR strategy
- Maintain a comprehensive archive of PR assets (photography, videography, quotes) and ensure timely distribution to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience in public relations, communications, or celebrity/influencer management within the luxury sector
- Strong understanding of Chinese media landscape and local celebrity ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with press, agencies, and high-profile personalities
- Excellent project management and event coordination skills
- Proficiency in crisis communication and risk management
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities in both English and Mandarin Chinese
Skills
Experience
5–8 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or related disciplines, with demonstrated experience in luxury brand management, celebrity relations, and media strategy within the Asia-Pacific region.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related discipline.
