Yard Switcher at PVH in Palmetto, GA. Operate switcher trucks for warehouse distribution logistics, 2nd shift, Class A CDL required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct incoming drivers to assigned parking slots for trailer drops
- Move fully loaded trailers to designated dock doors for unloading
- Position empty trailers at designated dock doors for loading
- Ensure all dock trailers are properly chocked and secured
- Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep checks on switcher truck
- Operate switcher truck safely and efficiently to prevent property damage
- Receive, record, and distribute incoming and outgoing UPS, RPS, and Federal Express packages
- Monitor yard area for unauthorized product removal and security violations
- Maintain constant situational awareness and alertness during operations
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior truck driving experience (major plus)
- Good vision and depth perception
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (below freezing to 90–100 degrees Fahrenheit)
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
- Physical capability to climb and manually hook/unhook trucks as required

Previous truck driving experience is strongly preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
