Supply Planning Analyst at Tommy Hilfiger India—manage vendor capacity, drive seasonal planning, optimize supply chain operations for global brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive seasonal planning processes with vendors for EU and NA markets, targeting high on-time availability in distribution centers and optimal on-time-to-accept (OTA) metrics
- Collaborate with vendors to report on and monitor key production metrics including weekly production volume, factory utilization rates, and production progress
- Negotiate vendor capacity allocation and planned commitments based on PVH requested advance commitment dates (ACDs)
- Continuously partner with vendors to identify opportunities for reducing end-to-end supply chain lead times
- Develop analytical assessments demonstrating capacity utilization scenarios, contextualizing product mix, volume, and fabric variables to identify potential business risks and opportunities
- Execute supply chain optimization initiatives including speed models, postponement strategies, advancement, expediting, consolidation, segmentation, and vendor rationalization
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders (fulfillment, sourcing, business teams) and external partners (regional hubs, vendors) through formalized collaboration frameworks
- Provide analytical support for the monthly integrated business planning (IBP) process, identifying supply constraints and delivering scenario-based recommendations
- Support strategic initiatives, projects, and organizational goals owned by the supply planning function
- Collaborate with supply planning teams across regions to manage vendor capacity and resolve supply chain constraints
- Monitor work-in-progress and execute exception management to maintain operational excellence
- Support supply planning system administration and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational KPIs
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of business experience with a minimum of 1–3 years in supply chain management roles (production planning, manufacturing, inventory management, operations, sourcing, or procurement)
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related analytical/business discipline
- 3+ years of industry experience in supply chain, preferably within apparel or related product manufacturing
- JDA Collaborate/ESP platform experience highly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with credibility at senior management level
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of business experience, including a minimum of 1–3 years in supply chain management roles such as production planning, manufacturing, inventory management, operations, or sourcing. Consumer products industry experience is preferred, particularly in fast-moving, multi-channel businesses with global manufacturing and sourcing operations. Apparel or similar product manufacturing and sourcing experience is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related analytical or business discipline. Minimum 3+ years of industry experience in supply chain, preferably within apparel manufacturing or sourcing.
