Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving, shipping, and processing of HUB and third-party deliveries, as well as special orders
- Maintain organized stockroom and off-site storage areas to optimize merchandise accessibility and efficiency
- Process merchandise to floor-ready standards and execute timely restocking of sales floor inventory
- Maintain visual presentation standards consistent with divisional philosophy when placing and restocking merchandise
- Ensure appropriate sales floor inventory levels to maximize sales volume and merchandise representation
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with team members and management
- Motivate associates to meet departmental goals and objectives through leadership and example
- Ensure accuracy in all paperwork, documentation, and inventory management tasks
- Follow Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program protocols and maintain compliance with all company policies
- Replenish merchandise on a timely basis and execute markdowns and re-merchandising as directed
- Maintain stockroom organization, including fixtures, hardware, and general cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Retail background with previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in operational policies and procedures
- Ability to work rotating hours and flexible scheduling as assigned by management
Skills
Experience
Retail background is preferred, ideally with prior management or supervisory experience in a retail stockroom or operations environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; retail management certification or training is beneficial but not required.
