PVH seeks a Shipping Account Planner in Palmetto, Georgia, to schedule and document outbound shipments, coordinate customer and carrier routing, and maintain accurate shipment records using PKMS. The role works first shift, Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m.
Role & Responsibilities
- Builds relationships with customers and designated carriers; routes and optimizes carrier freight, ensuring customer shipment start dates, cancellation dates and distribution center dates are met.
- Communicates customer and carrier issues to PVH Customer Service, PVH Strategic Services and PVH Transportation.
- Schedules wholesale shipments worth $10,000,000–$25,000,000 and/or 100,000,000–250,000,000 units.
- Ensures accurate load planning, including cube utilization, and on-time arrival of customer shipments.
- Schedules all outbound shipments according to customer routing requirements and carrier appointment schedules.
- Coordinates with customer logistics departments and carriers to confirm adequate equipment is on site.
- Prepares complete and accurate outbound paperwork, including Bills of Lading.
- Maintains orderly files and shipping records for all outbound shipments; researches, retrieves and communicates requested shipping documentation.
- Uses PKMS Warehouse Management System to build loads, track and update shipment information, and research issues.
- Prepares commercial invoices for international shipments.
- Works with PVH Customer Service, PVH Strategic Services and PVH Transportation to establish new customer accounts.
- Requests extensions for customer purchase orders and communicates carrier and customer issues to PVH Customer Service and PVH Strategic Services.
- Collaborates with PVH Deductions/Claims and merchandise coordinators on customer chargebacks.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor; remains alert and assists fellow associates.
- Works with detailed information, analyzes data and makes appropriate decisions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of solid experience in distribution or shipping routing, or relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional computer skills, including MS Office, Word and Excel.
