PVH seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to establish global Quality Assurance practices and lead enterprise automation testing across its applications and systems. The role sets testing frameworks, tools, metrics, and roadmaps; mentors global teams; supports test execution and project planning; and guides vendors on compliance with PVH QA standards. Full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the enterprise’s global automation engineer for Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Create and deliver a global specialized automation testing practice, defining and promoting testing tools and standardized automation script development.
- Define and own standard program and project automation testing metrics, and oversee testing status reporting.
- Support Project and Program Managers with project priorities and guide project leads in estimating QA resources for project plans.
- Mentor and train global product and project teams in developing automation test strategies, test plans, scripts, and defect management practices.
- Support Project and Program Managers in executing automation integration, regression, and ad hoc tests in line with approved test plans and schedules.
- Continuously strengthen the Quality Assurance team’s experience and skills through appropriate training, technologies, and techniques.
- Partner with PVH IT application teams, Program and Project Management, vendors, and Business Process partners to align long-term solutions for specialized testing, including automation roadmaps, tools, frameworks, and approaches.
- Consult and advise teams and stakeholders on automation and emerging trends in Quality Assurance and Testing practices.
- Direct vendors supporting automation testing, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with PVH QA standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 12 years of experience in quality assurance processes and industry-leading testing techniques.
- At least 3 years of experience in automation-focused Quality Assurance and Test Engineering teams across multiple geographies.
- Four-year bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant engineering; a graduate degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance and engineering processes, tools, and techniques for non-functional areas.
- Strong ability to implement and drive test automation with a focus on efficiency and time to value.
- Understanding of and hands-on experience with commercial and open-source testing tools.
- Hands-on experience implementing testing and QA automation frameworks for ERP, web, API, and mobile application domains using Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to recent trends such as AI testing, including research experience with co-pilot/OpenAI.
- Hands-on experience with one or more test management tools.
- Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile project methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills to drive organizational change.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and escalate issues that may impede deliverables or introduce risk, and articulate mitigation and corrective actions.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills at all organizational levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools as project needs require.
