Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute audit plans and programs to evaluate information systems and ensure data integrity, asset safeguarding, and efficient transaction processing
- Conduct compliance and substantive testing to assess IT control environments and identify opportunities for improvement
- Document audit work papers and evidence to support findings and recommendations
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, memos, and presentations for management and the Audit and Risk Management Committee
- Perform follow-up testing to verify implementation of agreed-upon recommendations
- Maintain collaborative relationships with technology and business teams to review systems and provide practical, effective control recommendations
- Execute pre-implementation reviews of new and enhanced systems to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate security controls and internal processes to protect data integrity and company assets
- Stay current with emerging technologies and audit methodologies through ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of IS Audit or Information Technology/Security experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Systems or Security)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification desirable
- Proficiency with enterprise platforms including Linux, SAP HANA, SAP GRC, Azure, and wholesale/retail/inventory systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent assignments
- Demonstrated capacity to interact effectively with all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Commitment to maintaining independence, objectivity, and professional standards
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of IS Audit, Information Technology, or Security experience is required. Prior experience in a fast-paced corporate audit environment and knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems are highly valued. Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 testing experience is preferred but not required.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Security, or related field is desirable.
