Role & Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and technical direction for Composable Storefronts using PWA Kit and Managed Runtime
- Define API integration strategies with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and third-party services
- Mentor and coach development teams on best practices, enforcing coding standards and architectural compliance
- Optimize storefronts for performance, scalability, search engine optimization, and accessibility (ADA compliance)
- Collaborate with product, business, and user experience stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives
- Assess and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance product roadmap capabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal business impact
- Manage dependency hygiene, conduct vulnerability audits, and enforce semantic versioning discipline
- Provide strategic guidance to outsourced vendor resources and external technology partners
- Lead decision-making on technical prioritization and technology investment recommendations
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional front-end development experience
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or architect role
- Expert-level proficiency with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C)
- Deep, hands-on experience with PWA Kit (Composable Storefront) and Managed Runtime
- Advanced expertise in React, Node.js, and modern JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of web security vulnerabilities and mitigation practices
- Expert-level dependency management using npm or Yarn
- Proven experience with API-first and event-driven integration patterns
- Demonstrated proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment
- Proven expertise in accessibility engineering and performance optimization
- Proficiency with Git version control and team mentoring experience
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer or Architect certifications (preferred)
