PVH Senior Accountant role in India: statutory reporting, GL reconciliation, audit support. 5-8 years experience required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare local GAAP financial statements including roll forward schedules and comprehensive note disclosures
- Generate audit schedules and documentation for external and internal audits; coordinate audit requests and evidence submission
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts including equity accounts; investigate and resolve reconciling items
- Oversee VAT compliance, plastic tax calculations, and support income tax preparation activities
- Maintain adherence to internal control standards (SOX) and PVH corporate policies
- Prepare CBS statistical information and support quarter, month, and year-end closing procedures
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and deliverables prepared by junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience with statutory accounts preparation experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, CMA, CA, or other advanced accounting certifications preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software such as SAP, Power BI, and CoStar
Skills
Experience
5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, with statutory accounts preparation preferred. Background in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and audit support in a multi-entity or multinational environment is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. CPA, CMA, CA, or other advanced accounting certifications are preferred.
