PVH seeks a Product Integrity Technician in Istanbul to ensure product compliance, safety, and quality across global markets. Textile engineering background required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable global, regional, and market-specific regulations including US CPSC, EU GPSR, China GB, Korea KC, and Japan JIS standards
- Evaluate product safety risks across materials, trims, and finished goods; implement preventive measures and investigate safety concerns
- Review and validate care, content, and mandatory labeling requirements against PVH fiber rules and Global Quality Manual standards
- Drive compliance with PVH/AFIRM Restricted Substances List on materials, trims, components, and product wet processing; manage chemical risks and remediation
- Execute and govern testing requirements in accordance with Global Quality Manual; manage test failures and interpret results with risk-based recommendations
- Lead risk assessment activities for materials and finished products throughout development and production using established processes and Product Lifecycle Management systems
- Execute escalation processes for identified Product Integrity risks and non-compliance situations; engage stakeholders to facilitate resolution
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Product Integrity processes; develop and deploy tools, standards, and best practices; deliver training to internal and external partners
Qualifications
- Academic background in Textile Engineering or equivalent discipline
- 3 years of working experience in risk assessment, color, and testing or equivalent domain
- Proficiency in English language communication
- Strong proficiency with computer software applications including Excel and Word
- Knowledge of major textile manufacturing processes, particularly dyeing chemistry
- Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external resources for innovation exploration
- Proactive risk awareness with capability to identify anticipated and unforeseen challenges
- Cultural awareness and ability to collaborate with cross-cultural teams across multiple locations
Skills
Experience
3 years of professional experience in risk assessment, color, and testing, or equivalent working experience in quality compliance, product safety, or regulatory affairs within apparel manufacturing or similar regulated industry.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
