Operations Assistant at PVH in Palmetto, GA – Warehouse & Distribution role, second shift (Sun–Thu, 3pm–11pm), full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Train and develop hourly staff in assigned warehouse areas
- Serve as backup to assistant supervisor to ensure orderly distribution centre operations
- Coordinate and delegate work assignments as directed by management
- Maintain and enforce highest performance, housekeeping, and safety standards
- Develop and recommend operational improvements, assisting with implementation upon approval
- Operate WMS/PKMS IT systems to monitor workflow and generate operational reports
- Direct hourly associates, monitor work methods, and recommend retraining or disciplinary actions as needed
- Multi-task effectively in a constant state of operational alertness
- Perform additional duties as assigned for effective facility operation
Qualifications
- 1–3 years' distribution or relevant supervisory experience with a 2-year degree, OR 5+ years' demonstrated supervisor/leadership experience in a distribution environment with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to assist fellow associates and support team objectives

1–3 years of distribution or relevant supervisory experience; alternatively, 5+ years of demonstrated supervisor or leadership experience, preferably in a distribution environment.
Education
2-year degree (preferred with 1–3 years' distribution experience) or high school diploma/equivalent (required with 5+ years' supervisory experience)
