Calvin Klein seeks experienced Merchandising Manager in Hong Kong to lead Asia merchandising operations, supply chain strategy, and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead brand development and execution of merchandising operations for assigned brand in the Asia hub with focus on order management and calendar mapping
- Build and maintain strong supply chain connectivity and strategic relationships to serve the brand's best interests
- Implement and monitor compliance, corporate responsibility, sustainability, and traceability objectives across all operations
- Deliver product and service level agreements whilst achieving cost objectives and KPI targets
- Identify operational challenges and drive solutions-oriented continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and develop merchandising team members, fostering talent growth and delivering collective performance targets
- Maintain market competitiveness through adoption of updated technology and innovation
- Collaborate closely with design teams and supply chain partners to source innovative product solutions
- Establish and maintain professional standards, mentoring team members and building organizational resilience
- Oversee execution of daily operations and provide clear strategic direction to team members and supply chain partners
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and build synergy across global teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in apparel, materials science, fashion management, or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 10 years of brand management experience with demonstrated people management leadership
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain operations from concept to consumer
- Proven experience developing supply chain capability and talent within merchandise functions
- Global sourcing strategy expertise aligned with brand positioning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English and local language proficiency (verbal and written)
- Solid product knowledge across multiple apparel categories including knit, denim, sweater, and outerwear
- Strong product development background
- Private label sourcing experience preferred
