PVH hiring Merchandising Manager in Amsterdam to lead EMEA assortment strategy and Full Price buying execution
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute EMEA assortment architecture, ensuring optimal product selection and segmentation for regional growth and profitability
- Own and execute regional category strategy, providing range and product feedback to inform global forecasting and assortment decisions
- Support Hub Merchandising teams in customizing assortments to align global intent with local market opportunities
- Execute regional buying and assortment strategies, including forecasting product volumes and managing style-level commitments
- Oversee the regional rollout of product assortments, including sales team downloads, showroom setups, and launch strategies
- Analyze and report market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to inform product assortment and commercial decisions
- Implement new systems and processes to enhance merchandising team efficiency and operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of category strategy
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of merchandising experience in fashion retail environments
- Proven track record in regional assortment planning and execution, preferably in Full Price retail settings
- Strong understanding of regional market trends and consumer behavior
- Advanced analytical, planning, and organization skills with demonstrated ability to generate commercial insights from data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Proven leadership experience with ability to develop, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
