Role & Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day merchandising activities for product development and bulk orders
- Track sample development and bulk delivery status
- Conduct preliminary cost analysis with vendors, including yarn consumption and material specifications
- Manage system data entry and work-in-progress (WIP) inventory
- Coordinate communication between vendors, cross-functional teams, and regional teams
- Follow up on bulk production execution including trims, fabrics, and production schedule delivery
- Support material selection, colorist coordination, and technical team collaboration
- Oversee embellishment specifications including embroidery and print execution
Qualifications
- University degree with 3-4 years of related apparel work experience, or post-secondary qualification with 3-5 years minimum
- Demonstrated experience in a buying/trading office or manufacturing environment
- Strong product and bulk operations expertise
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of embellishments, industrial washing, and garment construction
- Collaborative team player with ability to build effective working relationships
