Calvin Klein Merchandise Planner, Footwear & Accessories in Amsterdam – Direct-to-Consumer planning role across 26 European countries.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own pre-season planning and monitor key business KPIs throughout the season
- Build and manage sales, stock, markdown, and margin forecasts through the WSSI process
- Partner with Merchandising to review in-season performance and identify opportunities to maximize sales while minimizing excess inventory
- Identify and coordinate stock transfer opportunities across channels
- Review seasonal intake requirements to optimize stock flow
- Manage in-season and Never-Out-of-Stock (NOS) replenishment forecasts to improve conversion and full-price sell-through
- Produce weekly, monthly-to-date, year-to-date, and seasonal trade analyses covering sales, stock, markdown, and margin performance across countries and product divisions
- Deliver ad hoc analyses to support commercial decision-making
- Continuously improve existing planning reports and reporting efficiency
- Test new planning tools and provide feedback to support process improvements
- Manage divisional hindsight reviews, buy budgets, and range plans using historical performance and future commercial opportunities
- Support buy sign-off and buy placement in partnership with Merchandising
- Lead size analysis and recommend sizing strategies
- Conduct post-buy evaluations and identify learnings for future seasons
- Participate in divisional trading and planning meetings
Qualifications
- Approximately 3–4 years of merchandise planning or commercial planning experience, preferably within retail or fashion
- Degree in Business, Fashion Management, Economics, or a related discipline (preferred)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify commercial opportunities
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and planning tools
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English

Approximately 3–4 years of merchandise planning or commercial planning experience, preferably within retail or fashion.
Education
Degree in Business, Fashion Management, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
