PVH Manager, Product Design & Development

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Director Product Design & Development in guiding and coordinating the Product Design & Development team, setting clear priorities and overseeing delivery against agreed objectives
• Oversee operational activities of the team, maintaining accountability for quality and timeliness of activities within functional scope
• Initiate, drive and deliver projects regarding globalization, digitalization and data quality of Product Design & Development processes within Global Tommy Hilfiger
• Manage implementation of cross-departmental projects initiated by the Process Development team in the Product Design & Development area
• Act as primary contact for Product Design & Development functional topics within the team and across global stakeholders
• Jointly with the Director, manage key stakeholders located globally across multiple departments
• Drive analysis, validation and design of new processes and IT enhancements, translating business needs into clear process requirements and functional specifications
• Contribute to definition, documentation and adoption of global processes, standards and ways of working within Product Design & Development
• Provide day-to-day business support for Product Design & Development systems including PLM, Color Digital, 3D tools and related process requests
• Partner with IT to test new requirements, upgrades and improvements, ensuring solutions meet business needs and support stable operations
• Support coaching and development of team members through sharing expertise and strengthening process and system knowledge
• Proactively manage workload priorities, communicate risks and trade-offs, and maintain stakeholder alignment as business needs evolve

Qualifications

• 7–10 years relevant work experience, preferably in fashion or retail
• Strong understanding of Product Design and Development processes; consultancy experience and/or product development and design background are strong advantages
• Strong knowledge of PLM systems, data architecture and system-enabled process improvement; experience with Centric 8 PLM is desirable
• Proven experience coordinating, guiding or functionally leading the work of a small team, project team or functional workstream in an indirect leadership capacity
• Strong experience in modelling, mapping and improving complex processes, preferably product development processes, including process documentation, training materials and adoption support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-changing environment
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to manage expectations, communicate risks and trade-offs, and align stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
• Confident and proactive decision-making within functional scope with ability to assess risks, recommend practical solutions and influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Strong affinity with IT and system integration with willingness to understand technical details and drive people and process change
• Experience working with both Agile and traditional project management approaches, including use of JIRA or similar project tracking tools
• Practical experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and AI-enabled workflows to improve process and workflow efficiency
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, able to work effectively in a multicultural, multilingual and international environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Product Development, Information Management or related field, or equivalent relevant experience

Experience

7–10 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the fashion, luxury or retail industries. Demonstrated experience coordinating or functionally leading teams in an indirect leadership capacity, with proven success in complex process modelling, system implementation and cross-functional project delivery. Background in product development consultancy, design operations or enterprise system optimization is particularly valued.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Product Development, Information Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience demonstrating mastery of the role's core competencies.
