The Lead Sales Associate sells and promotes TOMMY HILFIGER merchandise while delivering customer service, supporting sales growth and carrying out cash, loss-prevention, operational and visual merchandising duties. This full-time role includes rotating schedules, night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Sell and promote TOMMY HILFIGER merchandise in accordance with customer service standards, maximizing sales potential.
  • Deliver consistent customer service, acknowledge each customer in the assigned zone, prioritize customers over other tasks and foster a positive, fair and consistent store experience.
  • Build a repeat customer base through effective customer data capture and service.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions and special events to support effective selling.
  • Keep merchandise replenished and appropriately presented on the sales floor; comply with visual standards, execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed, and maintain fixtures, hardware, organization and cleanliness.
  • Maintain the store's distinctive visual presentation and ensure it is impeccably maintained.
  • Follow operational policies and procedures, including opening and closing checklist duties, and ensure the store is ready for business.
  • Apply loss-prevention procedures, monitor the sales floor and stockroom, minimize shortages and report unusual internal or external activity to management.
  • Process register transactions, including refunds, exchanges, associate sales, post-voids, store credits, sale sends, gift cards and cash pulls.
  • Reconcile payment media when requested, including counting register tills, counting down tills, conducting secondary verification of safe cash funds and auditing registers between cashiers.
  • Demonstrate awareness of store sales plans and results, as well as individual contributions to business results.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks; communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Attend Take 5 and staff meetings as required.
  • Represent the TOMMY HILFIGER image through personal and professional appearance, and demonstrate professional conduct.
  • Work rotating hours as assigned, adapt schedules to the needs of the position, and work night shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Communicate concerns to management, support management decisions and maintain respectful relationships with peers, staff and supervisors.
  • Assist in developing Sales Associates and build energy and excitement around shared goals and values while acting with integrity.

Qualifications

  • Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible to work rotating hours, night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.60 to CAD 20.93 per hour.
