PVH recruits Financial Stock Controller Assistant for Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein in Paris. 6-month internship starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular weekly inventory monitoring and maintain accurate inventory records across all retail locations
- Prepare for and participate in annual physical stocktake operations
- Develop and implement action plans to reduce inventory discrepancies and variance
- Analyze and investigate negative stock situations, determine root causes, and execute necessary adjustments
- Analyze stock levels by point of sale and provide data-driven insights to store managers
- Manage urgent stock situations including late deliveries, stock-outs, and order errors
- Support the year-end balance sheet review process with the controlling team, focusing on stock provisions and cost of goods sold
- Review and document all stock control processes for the South West Europe region
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from retail operations management
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program with an internship agreement (convention de stage) required
- Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated passion for data analysis and accurate reporting of financial information
- Genuine interest in the fashion and luxury lifestyle sectors
- Positive attitude and strong team collaboration mindset
Skills
Experience
Ideally 6 months of prior experience in a finance environment, such as business analysis or management accounting. Candidates without this experience but possessing strong analytical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. An active internship agreement (convention de stage) is mandatory.
