PVH is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to manage EHS compliance, facilities and safety across Calvin Klein and TOMMY HILFIGER stores and offices in the DACH region. The role combines store audits, incident investigation, training, maintenance coordination and sustainability initiatives with cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure EHS compliance across retail stores and offices in the DACH region.
- Conduct regular store visits, audits and risk assessments across sales floors, stockrooms and back-of-house areas.
- Work closely with Store Managers and Retail Operations to implement and maintain EHS standards in daily store operations.
- Support stores on safety matters during peak trading periods, openings, refurbishments and visual merchandising changes.
- Investigate incidents, including customer or employee accidents, and ensure timely follow-up and corrective actions.
- Provide practical EHS guidance and training tailored to retail teams.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs and safety-related matters with Facilities, landlords and external service providers.
- Monitor fire safety, emergency procedures and the safe use of equipment in stores.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Support store sustainability initiatives, including waste management and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Store Development, Expansion, Area Management, Store and Outlet Management, Procurement, Finance, Retail Operations and Sustainability, as well as external service providers, contractors, suppliers, landlords and center managers.
- Promote a proactive safety culture suited to fast-paced retail environments.
Qualifications
- Degree or vocational training in Occupational Health and Safety, Facility Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, retail-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders.
- Structured, detail-oriented approach to documentation and reporting.
- Collaborative team spirit and ability to work independently.
- Business-fluent English and German, written and spoken.
- Solid knowledge of EHS, facility management or technical operations.
- Familiarity with retail safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, such as ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel and a valid driving license.
Skills
Experience
2–4 years in a similar role within facility management, technical services or EHS; retail or multi-site experience is a plus.
Education
Degree or vocational training in Occupational Health and Safety, Facility Management, Business Administration or a related field.
