PVH seeks Director of Connectivity Architecture in Amsterdam. Lead global network infrastructure, security, and cloud platforms for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and own enterprise strategy for SD-WAN, SASE/network security, cloud networking, connectivity platforms, and automation frameworks
- Establish target-state architectures across enterprise, cloud networking, DDI, observability, automation, and connectivity platforms
- Align enterprise cloud, identity, and zero-trust security standards globally
- Oversee firewall lifecycle management (Check Point, Cisco Firepower), IDS/IPS, URL filtering, and NAC implementation
- Lead cloud networking strategy for AWS and hybrid cloud environments
- Drive zero-trust security integrations across the organization
- Manage DDI (Infoblox), public DNS, domains, Akamai GTM/Geo, and digital certificate lifecycle
- Lead automation strategy using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Git
- Implement observability and SRE frameworks for enhanced operational reliability
- Lead strategic vendor partnerships and contract optimization
- Ensure global platform resiliency and service delivery across all connectivity services
- Drive automation, AIOps, and continuous reliability improvements
- Act as trusted advisor to senior IT and business leaders on network technology strategy
- Collaborate with global teams across Security, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and Operations
- Mentor engineering teams to foster technical excellence, innovation, and accountability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent)
- Proven experience leading global connectivity engineering and network modernization initiatives
- Deep technical knowledge across SD-WAN, routing, switching, wireless, DDI, ADC, SASE, firewalls, and NAC solutions
- Hands-on expertise with Check Point and Cisco Firepower platforms
- Experience with AWS networking and cloud connectivity architectures
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Git for infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of Infoblox DDI and Akamai Global Traffic Management
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and security framework implementation
- Strategic vendor and stakeholder management capabilities
- Budget management and business case development experience
- Proven track record of continuous improvement in network connectivity and security
- Ability to explain complex IT concepts to business and non-technical leaders
Skills
Experience
Minimum 12+ years in network infrastructure and IT architecture roles, with at least 5+ years in a director or senior leadership capacity leading global connectivity and network security engineering teams. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale network modernization programs, multi-vendor platform environments, and cross-functional global teams. Proven success in business case development, investment justification, and service delivery management involving both internal and external service providers. Track record of working effectively with virtual, geographically distributed teams across diverse cultural contexts.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
