Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional coaching to clients across all skill levels in sporting clays, driven game, and walked-up shooting
- Teach full columns, conduct individual lessons, and manage driving ranges and competition entries
- Present briefings, results, and prize-givings to corporate and private groups
- Attend and assist with hosting game days as experience develops
- Maintain professional presentation and composure in client-facing situations
- Support shooting ground operations across multiple departments as required
- Communicate promptly and effectively with clients and colleagues
Qualifications
- Fully qualified and experienced Association of Professional Shooting Instructors (APSI) certification
- Valid UK shotgun certificate
- Full UK driving license
- Enhanced DBS clearance for working with young people
- Proficiency in sporting clays, driven and walked-up game shooting (partridge, pheasant, grouse)
- Demonstrated game shooting coaching experience
- Ability to manage relationship and conflict in client scenarios
Skills
Experience
Some knowledge and experience coupled with high shooting competence, particularly in sporting clays and other clay disciplines. Experience coaching in the field with both driven clays and game shooting. Knowledge of driven and walked-up partridge, pheasant, and grouse shooting is highly valued.
Education
Association of Professional Shooting Instructors (APSI) qualification required.
