Role & Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales revenue for guns, rifles, and Purdey products within the boutique.
  • Attract new clients and develop the existing customer base.
  • Promote sales of new and second-hand guns and rifles.
  • Advise customers on the repair, maintenance, and storage of their guns.
  • Promote and sell cartridges, ammunition, and gun-related shooting clothing and accessories.
  • Act as an ambassador for Purdey at private and public events.
  • Assist in the coordination of in-store promotional events.
  • Maintain strict security on gun displays, storage, and transfer of firearms and ammunition in compliance with UK firearms legislation.
  • Deliver the 'Purdey Experience' to potential and existing clients.
  • Ensure clients receive the highest level of service to maintain the company's reputation as a leading gun maker.

Qualifications

  • Proven aptitude for gun sales.
  • Experience with sporting guns and rifles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to initiate contact and build rapport. Confident, articulate, and detail-oriented. Diplomatic and courteous with a 'can-do' attitude. Self-motivated, discreet, and trustworthy. Collaborative team player with a warm, engaging personality. Exceptional customer service and presentation skills. Commercially focused with an understanding of financial figures and budgeting.

Experience

Experience with sporting guns and rifles and a genuine interest in country pursuits.
