Role & Responsibilities
- Conceive and implement seasonal visual merchandising concepts for windows, shop-in-shop and full boutique environments that reflect the brand's creative brief and commercial objectives.
- Translate collection themes into cohesive in-store narratives, specifying props, materials, lighting and fixture placement to optimise customer flow and product visibility.
- Produce detailed planograms, installation drawings and mood boards; coordinate procurement of display elements and oversee fit-up with external carpenters, prop makers and internal store teams.
- Ensure consistent brand presentation across all retail touchpoints by maintaining VM standards, carrying out regular store audits and providing corrective guidance to store staff.
- Collaborate closely with retail operations, wholesale and marketing teams to plan launch roll-outs, promotional displays and visual responses to sales data.
- Train and coach boutique teams on window dressing techniques, merchandising upkeep and seasonal resets; create clear execution guides and checklists.
- Manage project timelines and budgets for VM installations and pop-ups; supervise third-party installers and sign off on completed set-ups.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' professional experience in visual merchandising within luxury fashion or high-end retail, with proven responsibility for store and window installations.
- Compelling portfolio of executed retail displays and window schemes demonstrating creative concepting, technical execution and strong commercial impact.
- Excellent sense of proportion, color, materials and lighting specific to high-end apparel and accessories.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and produce clear planograms, mood boards and installation specifications.
- Physical ability to manage on-site installations, including lifting, rigging and supervising third-party contractors; flexibility for occasional travel and weekend work.
Skills
Experience
At least three years of hands-on visual merchandising experience in the luxury fashion sector, with demonstrable responsibility for conceptualising and delivering flagship or boutique-level displays and seasonal roll-outs.
Education
Degree or professional qualification in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design or equivalent practical experience; a strong professional portfolio is essential.
