Puig is hiring a Supply Manager in Chartres — lead inventory, supplier relations and supply operations for Puig's Chartres site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end supply operations for the Chartres site, ensuring material and finished-goods availability to meet production and distribution plans.
- Develop and maintain inventory policies, safety stock levels and replenishment parameters to optimise working capital and service levels.
- Coordinate demand forecasting, order follow-up and inbound logistics with production, planning and warehouse teams to secure continuity of supply.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, driving punctuality, quality compliance and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs (stock turns, service rate, lead times, obsolescence) and implement corrective actions and continuous-improvement projects.
- Raise and track purchase orders, exceptions and supply incidents; ensure accurate documentation and traceability for audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (procurement, production, quality, planning, commercial) to align supply priorities with business needs.
- Lead, coach and develop team members responsible for order management, inbound reception and stock control.
Qualifications
- Proven managerial capability with strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Solid knowledge of inventory management, demand planning and replenishment methodologies (MRP/kanban concepts).
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated experience using KPIs to drive operational improvements and cost optimisation.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier performance and contractual commitments.

Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in supply, logistics or procurement roles within FMCG, cosmetics or manufacturing environments, including proven people management and cross-functional coordination.
Education
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering or equivalent; advanced study in supply chain management is an advantage.
