Puig seeks a Supply & Demand Planner in Mexico City to drive S&OP processes and optimize inventory across global markets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and consolidate global demand forecasts by integrating inputs from key and non-key markets, promotional calendars, and new product launches
- Challenge and validate forecast assumptions with local market teams to ensure alignment with budget and strategic business plans
- Build and maintain the Distribution Requirements Plan (DRP) and Master Production Schedule (MPS), factoring in demand, stock policies, and manufacturing constraints
- Execute Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to identify and anticipate capacity constraints across production facilities and supplier networks
- Define and contribute to stock policies and inventory strategies aligned with service level and cost objectives
- Execute the operational S&OP process by consolidating demand and supply inputs to support executive decision-making and scenario evaluation
- Manage replenishment and production planning activities to ensure product availability across the distribution network
- Align cross-functional stakeholders in Commercial, Marketing, and Finance to ensure execution of agreed plans
- Monitor forecast accuracy metrics and continuously improve demand planning performance
- Track service levels, stock availability, and inventory evolution across the network, identifying risks and opportunities
- Analyze deviations between forecast, budget, and actuals to surface risks and inform corrective action
- Monitor production performance versus plan, capacity utilization rates, and critical material availability
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including obsolescence and excess inventory exposure
- Ensure continuous communication and alignment between demand and supply planning functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in demand planning, supply planning, or S&OP within a global or regional environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with demand planning and inventory management methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in demand planning, supply planning, or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) within a global or regional environment, preferably in the fashion, beauty, or luxury goods sector.
Education
