L'Artisan Parfumeur is seeking a Store Manager to lead its boutique and three Printemps stands in Lyon, managing the team, sales, customer experience, visual merchandising and operations. This fixed-term contract runs from January to April 2027, with the possibility of extension.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and organize the team across the boutique and three Printemps stands.
  • Participate in recruitment, oversee onboarding and develop team skills through regular coaching.
  • Set objectives, monitor performance and implement the necessary actions.
  • Foster a positive working environment and clear communication, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Optimize schedules to provide appropriate sales-floor coverage.
  • Ensure that customer welcome and service meet brand standards.
  • Coach the team on the sales floor and develop customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Handle complaints professionally and with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Ensure the team is proficient in sales techniques, products and clienteling tools.
  • Maintain the boutique and product presentation in line with the brand image.
  • Develop knowledge of the customer base and local commercial environment.
  • Communicate marketing events and initiatives defined by headquarters.
  • Represent the brand with local partners when required.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and analyse results.
  • Define and track action plans to achieve objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports and share feedback from the sales floor.
  • Organize product launches and ensure the proper execution of commercial operations.
  • Maintain the boutique, windows and product displays in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure the team applies visual standards correctly.
  • Oversee stock, the stockroom and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with cash-handling, security and back-office procedures.
  • Prevent losses and report incidents to the Area Manager.
  • Lead the commercial activity of the boutique and three Printemps stands to achieve objectives, ensure operational excellence and deliver a customer experience aligned with brand standards.
  • Represent the brand and build loyalty among local customers through personalized service.
  • Oversee the boutique’s day-to-day management, including sales, stock, operations and service quality.
  • Work with support teams to implement brand priorities and sustainably develop the boutique and points of sale.

Qualifications

  • Confirmed experience in fragrance, beauty or luxury, including at least five years in a management role.
  • Strong commercial orientation and customer-experience focus.
  • A hands-on, organized, rigorous and results-oriented manager able to unite a team and support its development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and service orientation.
  • Analytical ability.
  • Proficiency with IT tools.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent English.
