Role & Responsibilities

  • Test new ingredients and execute experimental plans for skincare formulations
  • Create and design formulas utilizing the brand-new R&D Center facilities
  • Coordinate product testing across microbiology, safety, and efficacy protocols
  • Evaluate formulas, assess product performance, and conduct risk analysis
  • Oversee homologation testing and data monitoring to ensure quality standards and commercial feasibility
  • Collaborate with the packaging team to design consumer-focused, commercially viable products
  • Liaise with manufacturing partners on technical feasibility and formula upscaling
  • Lead manufacturing transfer processes from pilot laboratory batches to commercial production
  • Prepare, review, and maintain laboratory Standard Operating Procedures
  • Monitor scientific and technological advances in cosmetic product development
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and category evolution within skincare and adjacent segments
  • Contribute strategic insights to category innovation initiatives
  • Report progress and findings to senior management

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Chemistry, Cosmetic Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, or Chemical Engineering
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in skincare formula development
  • Demonstrated passion for the skincare category and beauty innovation
  • Understanding of cosmetic product attributes and consumer insights relevant to skincare development
  • Working knowledge of physical testing and analytical methods in cosmetics
