Jean Paul Gaultier seeks a Senior Production Coordinator in Paris to manage luxury manufacturing operations, supplier coordination, and delivery scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage production order launches and confirmations within ERP procedures, ensuring adherence to manufacturing capacity and delivery schedules
- Launch orders with factories while respecting production capacity reservations and communicate on delivery feasibility and adjustments
- Update delivery timelines and pricing; escalate risks to the Production Manager and internal departments (Customer Service/Merchandising)
- Manage launch and planning of samples (CT/PPS/SS) in compliance with Time to Market; coordinate scheduling and validations with manufacturers
- Negotiate production pricing with manufacturers and conduct weekly reporting
- Pilot pre-purchase activities in factories and collect information under supervision of the Production Manager
- Control manufacturers' material and component purchase orders and delivery schedules
- Validate lab dips and material quality tests in collaboration with the Design Office
- Control material and component receptions; verify compliance with specifications and coordinate regulatory filing
- Calculate needs and procure components for bespoke production; analyze production coherence and manage raw material and packaging allocations
- Generate pick lists and stock movement documentation for material, components, and labeling shipments
- Coordinate composition label and barcode information collection across production sites
- Coordinate merchandise shipments in collaboration with the Production Manager
- Attend technical fittings and manage sample collection campaigns (PDS, prototypes, audits)
- Interface with transporters and manufacturers; create production transport orders and validate imputations
- Manage manufacturing disputes and oversee repair and claims follow-up
- Verify invoice and warehouse reception compliance; chase invoices and participate in month-end close
- Close orders in ERP systems and participate in specification document development
- Produce annual and seasonal performance reports on subcontractor quality and supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
- Degree in fashion or luxury production management; minimum 5 years of experience in a luxury house
- Expertise in negotiation and strong capability to work in a demanding environment
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and organizational capabilities
- Deep knowledge of the luxury industry and product understanding
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP knowledge preferred
- Fluent French and English required; Italian a plus

Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in production coordination, planning, or supply chain management within a luxury fashion house or comparable high-end manufacturing environment.
Education
Degree from a fashion school or equivalent higher education in production management, supply chain, or luxury goods manufacturing.
