Puig is hiring a Retail Development Intern in Hamburg to support niche brand store openings, retail analysis and visual merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the retail development team in the planning and execution of store openings, roll-outs and boutique refurbishments for niche Puig brands in the German market.
- Conduct retail market analysis, competitor audits and in-store visits to inform merchandising, assortment and display recommendations.
- Prepare clear, client-ready presentations, concept boards and reports for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project trackers, timelines and budget-monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising, wholesale and operations teams to ensure brand standards are implemented consistently across points of sale.
- Compile and analyse retail KPIs and sales data to support commercial decision-making and post-launch reviews.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Management, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail and an aptitude for turning retail observations into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to produce polished presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, organised and comfortable working across multiple projects with cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated interest in luxury fashion, niche fragrances or retail environments; prior retail or brand experience is advantageous.

Experience
Internship-level role; prior part-time or internship experience in retail, luxury goods, brand management or merchandising is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience conducting store visits, retail audits or supporting store roll-outs will be highly regarded.
Education
Enrolled in a relevant university programme (Bachelor's or Master's) in business, retail, marketing, fashion management or a closely related field.
