Carolina Herrera seeks a Retail Buying Intern in New York for Fall 2026 to support market preparation and visual merchandising. $17/hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in market preparation, including line sheet creation and image/sketch gathering
- Assist the design team in creating color ups for style additions during market presentations
- Maintain and update line sheets before and during market events
- Prepare bi-weekly selling reports, best seller reports, and end-of-season recaps
- Conduct competitive research to identify sales trends, product categories, and emerging markets
- Support cross-functional teams in Design, Development, Sales, Visual Merchandising, and PR
- Develop visual merchandising solutions for retail and wholesale environments following brand guidelines
- Assist the Senior Visual Manager with research projects, retail updates, and wholesale events
- Execute in-store visual updates aligned with brand aesthetic and seasonal guidelines
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a college degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of visual merchandising trends and aesthetics
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
