Puig is hiring a Product Development Coordinator in Barcelona. Temporary role coordinating samples, tech packs and PLM for beauty and fragrance products.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept through to pre-production and launch, ensuring alignment with design intent and commercial timetables.
  • Manage sample flows and approval cycles with internal design, technical and production teams, as well as with external suppliers and laboratories.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation including tech packs, bill of materials (BOM), specifications and quality checklists.
  • Track project timelines, escalate schedule risks, and drive corrective actions to meet launch deadlines.
  • Support costing and margin analysis by compiling component cost data and liaising with sourcing and finance stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and labelling requirements specific to beauty and fragrance products.
  • Maintain and update the PLM/ERP system with accurate product data and change histories.
  • Organise cross-functional meetings, record action points and produce regular status reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in cosmetic science, chemistry, product design, industrial engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in product development, technical coordination or sample management within cosmetics, fragrance, fashion or FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, technical documentation and quality control procedures specific to beauty products.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and strict deadlines in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills; capacity to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
