Puig is hiring a PIM Technology Consultant in Barcelona. Lead PIM implementations, integrations and product-data strategy for the global beauty house.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end PIM implementations and configuration activities, from requirements capture through deployment and hypercare.
- Design and enforce product data models, taxonomies, attributes and workflows to support omni‑channel commerce and merchandising needs.
- Architect integrations between the PIM and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, DAM, e‑commerce, CMS, marketplaces) using APIs and ETL patterns.
- Define data governance rules, validation routines and enrichment processes to improve completeness, consistency and time-to-market of product information.
- Collaborate with product, merchandising, marketing and regional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and prioritised roadmaps.
- Provide training, create documentation and enablement materials for users and data stewards; act as first-line technical liaison during stabilization.
- Monitor PIM performance and data quality KPIs; propose continuous improvement initiatives and automation to scale product data operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience implementing and configuring PIM solutions for retail, fashion or beauty brands, with ownership of at least one full lifecycle deployment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of product data modelling, taxonomy design, variant hierarchies and digital asset management concepts.
- Strong understanding of system integration patterns (RESTful APIs, SOAP, ETL) and experience with data transformation and synchronization.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and to manage cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Fluent technical documentation and training skills; capacity to lead workshops and stakeholder governance forums.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of hands-on experience delivering PIM implementations or product-data programmes within retail, beauty, or fashion. Proven track record integrating PIM with ERP, DAM and e‑commerce platforms and driving data quality improvements.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Informatics or equivalent practical experience.
