Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, implement and maintain packaging quality standards and inspection criteria for fragrance and beauty packaging components and finished goods.
  • Manage incoming inspection, in‑line checks and final packaging release processes to ensure conformity with specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead supplier quality activities: approve new suppliers, perform supplier audits, issue non‑conformances and drive corrective actions (CAPA).
  • Coordinate packaging validation and testing (mechanical, climatic, migration, compatibility and ageing) and oversee third‑party laboratory testing when required.
  • Support artwork and print quality approvals, ensuring colour, print registration and substrate specifications are met prior to production.
  • Investigate quality incidents using root‑cause methodologies (8D, FMEA), implement containment and long‑term corrective actions and report metrics to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with R&D, sourcing, manufacturing and regulatory affairs to accelerate issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain quality documentation within the QMS, prepare audit evidence and contribute to certification and compliance activities (e.g., ISO, GMP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, adhesives and barrier technologies relevant to fragrances and cosmetics.
  • Practical experience with quality systems and regulatory frameworks for cosmetics (e.g., GMP/ISO 22716) and general quality standards (ISO 9001).
  • Proven ability to execute supplier audits and manage supplier corrective actions.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with experience in FMEA, 8D and statistical process control (SPC).
