Role & Responsibilities
- Support monthly management reporting for operations and production cost centres, consolidating data and preparing commentaries for finance business partners.
- Perform variance analysis on spend, production costs and margins; investigate drivers and propose corrective actions.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles for manufacturing and logistics, liaising with cross-functional stakeholders to collect assumptions and ensure alignment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and supporting implementation of control enhancements.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and scenario modelling to support decision-making on projects, investments and pricing.
- Maintain and reconcile cost accounting records; ensure accuracy of inventory valuations and intercompany allocations for operations.
- Support month-end close activities related to operational accounts and provide timely responses to internal and external audit queries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a closely related discipline; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with a methodical, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to synthesise complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
