Puig seeks a Middle East Technology Manager to lead technology operations and strategy across the Middle East, aligning local needs with Group standards and global transformation initiatives. The role oversees infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, ERP, retail and digital platforms, budgets, projects and local IT teams. Permanent position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the Middle East technology agenda, partnering with local business leaders and aligning with Puig’s global IT strategy, standards and governance.
- Shape and deliver the Middle East IT roadmap, investment plan and project portfolio, balancing local business priorities with global technology transformation.
- Oversee digital workplace and end-user services across offices and retail, ensuring reliable, effective technology experiences for teams.
- Lead local technology operations, including connectivity, workplace infrastructure, telecommunications and meeting-room technologies; ensure operational resilience and business continuity.
- Partner with Puig’s global Cybersecurity and IT teams to protect the technology environment, manage local risks and ensure compliance with Group standards and relevant local requirements.
- Coordinate technology initiatives across e-commerce, customer relationship management and order management platforms with global platform teams, enabling retail and digital objectives.
- Oversee ERP and business application evolution, working with business teams, Group IT and external partners to prioritize enhancements, support rollouts and drive adoption.
- Lead technology projects from business need through implementation and stabilization, managing priorities, budgets, timelines, risks and key stakeholders.
- Manage the Middle East IT budget and technology partners, ensuring strong service delivery, effective cost management and alignment with Puig procurement and technology standards.
- Lead and develop local IT employees, contractors and service partners, fostering a collaborative, service-oriented and business-focused technology culture.
- Build strong connections between local teams, regional IT and global technology functions, championing innovation, standardization and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, workplace technology or a similar technology environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and workplace technologies, including Microsoft environments, networking and end-user technology.
- Experience managing outsourced technology services and external IT partners.
- Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure or technology projects, with a good understanding of project governance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to partner effectively with business and technology teams.
- Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
- Collaborative, service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively across local, regional and global teams.
- ITIL and/or project management certification, such as PMP.
